The Centre for Educational Planning, Economics & Research Development (CEPERD) is an independent think tank, which works in macro-economy, energy, international trade, manufacturing sectors, banking, infrastructure, conflict, contracts, corruption, culture, discrimination, finance, fiscal policy, governance, health, human capital, inequality, industrial organization, international economics, political economy and property rights. CEPERD pursues evidence for the use of technology and innovation as a tool for, rather than an outcome of, development and advocates bringing this to the forefront of international development practice. Our work is interdisciplinary, carried out at the national and international levels and in many sectors including the public and private. Amongst other things, we focus on managing education research and economic policy in organisations, governments and markets. Our research also investigates different ways in which digital technologies transform and shape work and workplaces, and how markets and inter-organisational governance structures are shaped by the technologies organisations use to transact and interact with each other. The centre engages the best-qualified private, public and academic minds to participate actively in its work, applying rigorous and academically sound practices. The centre extends its services and activities to a wide range of beneficiaries.
